Watch the webinar that was held on March 8th

WEBINAR OVERVIEW

Minute Media is proud to support Hashtag Sports’ year-round recognition, allyship and career enablement platform Creators of Color. This remarkable community for continued education, mentorship, networking, and open conversation is meant to ensure the next generation of execs has a diverse network of peers.

While Minute Media is actively building recruitment programs to invite more talent of color into our teams, we are also encouraging our people to bring their own personal stories and journeys, as we believe that diversity without inclusion is a story of missed opportunities.

In this intimate fireside chat, Ashly Robinson, Head of Original Development and Production at The Players’ Tribune and Adena Jones, Director of Digital Content at the New York Knicks will flesh out the highs, the lows, the challenges and the opportunities they seized while building their successful careers and share lessons for aspiring professionals looking to build a creative career in the sports business.

ABOUT THIS SERIES

The Dare to Change the Game series hosted by Hashtag Sports and Minute Media features conversations with change catalysts and culture shifters who are leading a new era in sports x entertainment.

Through this thought leadership series, Minute Media is doubling down on its editorial work on topics such as Mental Health, Social Justice, and Gender Equality as well as on its internal commitment to DE&I by proactively seeking to learn from social movements and cultural shifters and incorporate change within its culture in hopes of  leading the way for other organizations to follow.

In episode one, we focused on gender equality and covered how storytelling is accelerating change in the way women are viewed in sports, work, and society. In episode two, we shared how sports is marking progress in incorporating inclusive practices for those with disabilities. Watch the recordings today.
